Since all Eyeshot products contain the ODA (Open Design Alliance) module for import/export of DWG/DXF files (devDept.Eyeshot.x86/x64.v2024.dll
& related), we would like to inform our customers and developers about the recent restrictions imposed by the U.S. Government against Russia. Particularly the new June 12 Determination issued by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), as notified by Open Design Alliance.
Restrictions on Sales of software containing ODA technology in Russia Starting from September 12, 2024, all sales of software containing ODA technology into Russia are restricted to retail off-the-shelf applications only. Sales of bespoke applications containing ODA technology into Russia shall be prohibited. Providing any type of web-based services containing ODA technology to clients in Russia shall also be prohibited. In addition, ODA shall take the following further risk mitigation steps (among others) to ensure compliance with the June 12 Determination:
In the event that these controls are breached, any Entities implicated may face significant civil and potentially criminal liability under U.S. law. |
Consequences for Eyeshot Developers
According to the U.S. Export Regulation and the June 12 Determination, customers and developers located in Russia are not permitted to use the library devDept.Eyeshot.x86/x64.v2024.dll
& related.
We recommend verifying your situation and taking all necessary steps to comply with U.S. law.
