In a nutshell:

I know, omniverse is still in its beta, but might become a game changer for the whole industry. Server Side Rendering, Collaboration and a shared scene graph with access from various tools adding (and changing) the same shared scene graph opens a new universe of possibilities.

nvidia is partnering with the "big" players, but since its based on the Universal Scene Description, there could be a chance to participate. As far as I understood: if you manage to connect EyeShots scene graph to the USD scene graph (which is open source by the way) ...
