Export To IFC

We are considering using Eyeshot for a project. One of the needs of the project is export to IFC. We see that at this moment there is only reading from IFC. Is there any plan for export to IFC format?

We would appreciate this information.

Hello Benat,

Not in the short term, sorry. In addition, IFC export can be done in several ways, for example as a set of boolean operations. This involves a product that understands the design intent.

You can use this library to write IFC files by yourself.

We have similar request from our customers, and IFC er really becoming more and more important in the exchange of 3D Data. However it is important to make sure that the IFC export will be flexible to support used user defined business meta data.

we have the same requests since our clients are working in industrial enviorments and ifc and bim formats are present as outputs.
