  • Reading the gltf format would squaring the circle.
    This format is very useful given its wide use in web applications using Threejs or AR / VR applications.
    Being able to read it would simplify the use in the creation of applications that use Eyeshot no longer using the Obj format.

  • The data generated by the shipyard when exporting models is in the Review file format called RVM. Unfortunately, Eyeshot cannot load this format. As a result, we are currently using a program, PiXYZStudio, to initially convert RVM files into the glTF format, which we then use in Unity. If Eyeshot has the capability to import glTF files, it would significantly benefit our project.

    I'm curious if the Export feature in Eyeshot uses the KhronosGroup/glTF module. Would it be possible for you to share the code related to the Export feature? We urgently need the Import feature for our project.

  • Alternatively, I'm curious if there is a way to provide functionality for reading RVM files. We can provide models that include the relevant entity data if needed.

  • reading gltf would be great. since we have end users using gltf in webbrowser and others using our exeshot based rich client they could use the same data instead of creating an intermediate format for rich client users
